How I work
One important aspect of my work is developing a relationship with you in which you feel safe to explore the issues affecting your life at present. We will have an initial meeting to confirm that you feel comfortable with me and that I have the expertise you need. We will then consider the kind of approach that will suit you best and arrange future appointments.
You can only make changes that fit with your values and your view of the world: my aim is to support you in taking on a different perspective so that you can make changes to your life or relationship. My approach varies and I will use strategies and methods that work for you.
Whether you come alone or with your partner, for coaching or counselling, the intended outcome is that you will finish your work with me feeling more confident in yourself and/or your relationship; you will leave with the skills you need to tackle any future challenging situations.
